I am so excited to launch the first of seven workshops created to help you deepen your experience of yoga and make progress in your practice.

By attending this workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn in more depth and bring this learning back into your weekly practice. We will have time to break down poses, work in pairs, give and receive feedback, ask questions, observe demonstrations and most importantly have fun playing with the poses. With your permission, I will give sensitive hands-on assists to guide re-patterning; the aim of which is to create release, ease and space within body and mind. You will also receive a handout to assist your learning and home practice.

In this first workshop we will be breaking down a foundational yoga sequence: the sun salutation.

What will you learn?

  • How to let the breath move you into each pose (the focus is on moving from the inside out- not getting caught up with how it looks but concentrating on how it feels)

  • The importance of springy knees and having options: stepping back into a lunge, plank and down dog and option to play with jumping back

  • Spotlight on key posture of the plank and playing with variations of chaturanga

  • Spotlight on key posture of the cobra and playing with variations of cobra

  • Spotlight on key posture of the down dog

  • The importance of springy knees and having options: stepping forward, kneeling to stand and option to play with jumping through

Spaces are limited to allow for quality of learning experience
